Innovative geometry for maximum efficiency per square meter

The Aqua Diamond® represents the evolution of cloth media disc filters. Panel geometry was redesigned in a "diamond" format to maximize active filtration area per unit of tank volume, resulting in higher hydraulic capacity without increasing occupied space.

Like the other Cloth Media filters, the Aqua Diamond® operates in a concrete channel with continuous automatic backwash. The difference is filtration density: more usable cloth media area per compartment means higher treatment capacity per installed module — a decisive advantage in WWTP expansions with limited space.

How does Aqua Diamond® work?

The filtration principle is the same as the rest of the Cloth Media line: effluent enters the channel and flows outside-in through the cloth media panels — now in diamond geometry — and the clarified effluent is collected internally and sent to the final effluent outlet.

Automatic backwash operates continuously with sliding shoes that traverse the panel surface, removing retained solids without interrupting filtration. The diamond geometry increases the effective number of panels per compartment without increasing channel volume, directly resulting in higher treated flow per module.
